Northwest Multihull Association invites you to learn line splicing.

Diane Johnson writes:

You’re invited to my other sailing club for a splice-a-thon! Martyn Adams will demonstrate soft hanks and you’re invited to try your hand at it too.

We’ll have line on hand, but please bring splicing tools if you have them, or these substitutes:

 Simple BIC pen (the kind with the smooth plastic barrel)

 A wire coathanger

 A permanent marker with a fine point (e.g, Sharpie)

And also feel free to bring your own line if you want to work on a cordage project of your own.

Northwest Multihull Association meeting is Tuesday, Feb 7, 2012 at Puget Sound Yacht Club, 2321 N Northlake Way, Seattle (on Lake Union).    http://www.nwmultihull.org/

You’re welcome for any or all of this: potluck starting at 6:30. At 7:00 or so, we’ll have a brief business meeting followed at 8:00 by the line splicing.

Hope to see you there.
