Have Fun As A Guide on the Yacht Olympus

Hey Gals,

Many of you remember the lovely evening we spent onboard Yacht Olympus when Diane Vanderbeek invited us to hold a meeting there. Here’s a chance to enjoy the beautiful yacht again and help out Diane. And, it’s an opportunity to attend the Classic Yacht Assoc. Bell Street Rendezvous enjoying other classic yachts.

Note from Diane:

At the Classic Yacht Association we are busy preparing for our largest event of the year, the Bell Street Classic Rendezvous at Pier 66 the weekend of June 16 and 17.

I need help aboard Olympus with guiding the 2,000 people on the deck tours who will be coming aboard.  Usually if I can get 2 volunteers to work 2 hour shifts I am happy. I would be extremely grateful for some volunteers from Northwest Women in Boating!   The show hours are from 10-4 on Saturday and Sunday.

So here is what I need: two volunteers for each of three shifts on Saturday and two volunteers for each of three shifts on Sunday.

Saturday from 10-12; 12-2; 2-4; Sunday 10-12; 12-2; 2-4.

If you could possibly help I would be very grateful.  The only training requirement is to go to my website www.yachtolympus.com and click the history link and watch the history video.  Then come to the yacht at Pier 66 about 15 minutes before the start of your shift.

Please let me know as soon as you can if you can do it. My e-mail is diane.vanderbeek@yachtolympus.com. my cell phone number is 206.919.5099 if you have questions or need more information.

Thanks so much for your help.

Diane Vanderbeek
