Long time member, May Leong, is leaving us going south. Not by boat, this time, but moving to San Francisco. May has been a part of our group for many years starting when she and her husband were only dreaming about buying a boat and possibly, someday, sailing the Mediterranean. She grew in confidence about boating and reveled in learning boating skills, on the two boats they went on to own. Furthering their dream of long-range cruising, her husband got his captain’s license and became active captaining the Mallory Todd for charity cruises around Seattle. We wish May all the best, continued boating adventures and someday the fulfillment of their dream of cruising.
(A note, May has some fabric for sale, white and beige, quilted cotton, that she had planned to use to reupholster the cushions on their boat. If you are planning some reupholstering boat cushions and would like to know more about her material, here is a link to the craigslist post: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/art/3522522400.html Contact May at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.)
