6-17 NWWB Meeting Reminder and a Cool (or maybe Hot) Tip

Next Monday, June 17th, will be an interesting and very informative meeting. It’s all about what you need to know to get you ready for fishing, clamming, crabbing, etc. as you head out to enjoy our waters this season. George Harris, head of the Northwest Marine Trade Association, will be our presenter. See meeting description on the blog at https://nwwb.wordpress.com/meeting-monday-january-17-2011-700pm-900pm/

It’s varnishing season and I just heard a cool idea but haven’t tried it (where’s a dried up role of blue tape when you need it!). Have any of you tried it?

HEAT THE TAPE. Want to make sure that roll of masking or blue painter’s tape releases from the roll easily (even if years old)? Freshen it by microwaving it for 10 seconds. That will soften the adhesive just right for easy release.
