NWWB Mon. Nov. 16th Meeting – Lessons Learned From a Marina Fire

Please RSVP if you plan to attend this meeting – seating may need to change…

Marine surveyor, Lynne Reister, is crazy busy surveying boats involved in the latest marina fire on Lake Union, but she’s taking time out to talk to our group on the timely and extremely important topic of marina fires. She owned a vessel, undamaged, in the marina. This is a rare opportunity to get valuable first-hand and professional information.

Lynne has been a long-time supporter of Northwest Women in Boating and of empowering women. She has worked as an accredited marine surveyor since 1999 and owns Lodestar Marine. She has surveyed boats as far away as Greece and is one of only a few female marine surveyors in the field. Her company’s website is unavailable the moment, but you can see her at work and learn more about her at:  http://www.absolutelyeverythingabout.com/boats/lynne-h-reister/

She can be reached at lodestarmarine@aol.com and, by phone, at (206) 841-6006.

Please RSVP at nwwbviv@gmail.com if you plan on attending so we may set up the room appropriately and tell your boat-loving gal friends. Come and enjoy the evening.
