Newton, Ph.D. who is Senior Principal Oceanographer and NANOOS Executive Director Applied Physics Laboratory, Affiliate Asst. Professor and WA Ocean Acidification Center co-director College of Environment University of Washington. In this time of unwanted changes from global warming, she will speak on environmental issues, specifically, acidification of the world’s oceans.
