We are thrilled to announce that member Joanne Poggetti and her friend Katie Geraghty are having an adventure of a lifetime. They are, on day three, heading up the Columbia River from Lewiston, Idaho to Astoria, Oregon, a 400+ mile trip in a 13′ Boston Whaler. Joanne presented at January’s NWWB Boat Show Panel talking about doing smaller adventures in her dighy. She feels our group’s enthusiasm helped her gain the confidence for this “adventure to remember”. We will be posting more information and pictures. And, for those of you at the meeting next Monday the 17th we will bring you up to date. Let’s all cheer on these intrepid gals!
