We’ve all faced our boats, at times, with rags, brushes, cleaners and polishes in hand wishing we had more information about…
…easier ways of cleaning and detailing,
…what products to use,
…even how to better interact with detailing companies we pay to maintain our boats.
Natalie Sears, owner of Deckhand Detailing, will talk with our group this Monday. She’s a 20-year detailing pro with 16 employees and she’ll share all kinds of that information “we wish we had”.
Natalie will offer tips and tricks for cleaning and detailing your boats. “It’s an opportunity to learn how to take care of your boat by working smarter, not harder“, said Natalie, “I’ll show you how to divide up the cleaning tasks on your boat so they’re more do-able, and I’ll bring products to show.” She’ll take questions from the group and will also bring copies of her book “The Insider’s Guide to Boat Cleaning and Detailing” for purchase.
Natalie is an inspiring entrepreneur, something we may get here talking about, as well. She didn’t come from a boating background. She had never cleaned a boat before and is afraid of water, but thought starting a boat detailing business would be a great idea! (Read the full story on how she got started at https://www.deckhanddetailing.com/our-story.htm.) Over 20 years later, Natalie is still going strong with a crew of hard-working employees, a ton of experience with boats, and about that fear of the water…”only a little.”
