NO MEETING IN DECEMBER
Due to colds and busy schedules all around, we are NOT having a meeting or gathering of Northwest Women in Boating in December – again, next Monday, no meeting. We hope you all stay relaxed, in good spirits and enjoy the season.
SEATTLE BOAT SHOW INSPIRATIONAL PANEL ON WOMEN’S DAY:
EXPANDING YOUR LIFE THROUGH BOATING
The Boat Show is coming up in January. Women’s Day, allowing free attendance for women, is Monday, January 27th. We will be sponsoring an impressive panel of inspiring women and want you all there supporting this event. So put it on your calendars 5pm to 7pm (followed by a social gathering at Pyramid Ale House). We’ll be sending out information about the participants on the panel shortly. Come, bring friends, and be inspired.
JANUARY 20TH MEETING NOT TO BE MISSED, MEET SOME AMAZING WOMEN
We have a treat for you in January. You will meet and enjoy unique and exciting tales from Rachel Emery and Carol Sorbie, both round-the-world cruisers and members of the first all-women team competing in the TRANSPACIFIC YACHT RACE to Hawaii. We have some amazing women in the Northwest who have built character, challenged themselves and triumphed in on-the-water adventures. Northwest Women in Boating provides an opportunity for us to meet them, hear their experiences and learn from them. Rachel and Carol will inspire boaters of all types. Mark January 20th on your calendars and invite other gals to enjoy it with you.
